VINEYARD, Utah — The Utah City community turned out in full force for the highly anticipated grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony of locally-owned Bella’s Market. Located within Utah City, a 700-acre mixed-use master-planned community on the eastern shore of Utah Lake, the event drew more than 1,000 attendees. Neighbors flooded the store to experience their new local grocery destination. At the same time, vendors such as Kodiak Cakes, Café Ibis, Certified Angus Beef, and Tuff Pops joined community partners like Huntsman Cancer Institute and Utah City to line the storefront with tents and samples. Children received balloons from Bella’s Market, and early arrivals, some of whom had been waiting since 6 a.m., were treated to freshly made pink-iced sugar cookies as they stepped inside the store for the first time.

Bella’s Market is the first major amenity in Utah City, designed to serve as a community anchor and provide a thoughtfully curated grocery experience, a 700-acre mixed-use master-planned community on the eastern shore of Utah Lake. The 40,000-square-foot store seamlessly blends the ambiance of a boutique specialty market with the convenience of a full-service grocer, enabling guests to find everything they need in one stop. The new store is located at 875 N. Main Street and is locally owned and operated by Lee’s Marketplace, in partnership with Utah City.

“This is just the beginning,” said Abel Porter, Partner at Bella’s Market. “Bella’s Market sets the tone for what Utah City will become, a vibrant, connected community with amenities that make life better today and for generations to come.”

Designed by leading grocery architects RDC and their interior designer arm, DyeLot, Bella’s Market offers an elevated shopping experience featuring:

  • Expansive produce department with seasonal, local fruits and vegetables, organic selections, and fresh-squeezed juices.
  • Scratch bakery serving warm doughnuts daily.

  • Deli favorites prepared in-house from family recipes.
  • Old-style butcher block with premium cuts from Snake River Farms and Certified Angus Beef.

By partnering with local producers and artisans, we’re not just filling shelves, we’re building community.”
