PARK CITY, Utah — On the heels of the second successful Expanded Excellence: Future in Flight event at Deer Valley Resort, where enthusiastic members of the community watched the aerial placement of lift towers for the new Revelator Express lift, the resort’s ambitious Expanded Excellence initiative is on its way to “Double the Deer Valley” in what will be the largest ski resort expansion in history.

Spectators had the opportunity to witness Deer Valley’s progress in person at the second Expanded Excellence: Future in Flight event this past weekend, with helicopters flying in towers for the new Revelator Express on Park Peak.

Steady progress will extend through the fall on the Expanded Excellence initiative, which encompasses more than doubling the resort’s skiable terrain. This winter, Deer Valley will debut a total of seven new chairlifts and 80 new ski runs, bringing the resort’stotal to 10 new lifts and nearly 100 new runs since December 2024. The Deer Valley East Village will also offer 1,200 day skier parking spaces this winter for an easier, more convenient arrival and departure experience for guests. The resort will boast a totalof 31 chairlifts, over 200 ski runs, seven bowls, and 4,300 skiable acres for the 2025/26 season.
