EAGLE MOUNTAIN, Utah — Residents of Eagle Mountain, Utah’s third fastest growing city, no longer have to drive to Saratoga Springs for everyday shopping needs. As of August 27, they now enjoy everyday low prices and convenience at the new Walmart Supercenter in Eagle Mountain at 9399 N Spring Run Pkwy. The next-generation Supercenter is only the second of its kind in the United States and reflects Walmart’s continued investment in Utah. It’s enhanced with cutting-edge features, blending convenience, technology and elevated experiences to meet how customers shop today. The 175,000-square-foot store will provide 375 new jobs and is part of Walmart’s initiative to build or convert more than 150 stores nationwide during the next several years. Drivers are already saving time and money thanks to the 16-pump fuel station and convenience store which opened on August 13. To serve as many customers as possible from the beginning, the Eagle Mountain store offered pick-up and delivery services on day one.

Hundreds of community members joined the grand opening celebration on Wednesday, August 27. To demonstrate its commitment to the local community, Walmart presented grants in the amount of $2,500 to both the Utah Food Bank and Tabitha’s Way Food Pantry. Approximately 40 vendors were on hand with free samples and giveaways for customers.
“Walmart is proud to be part of the exciting growth happening in Eagle Mountain,” said Eagle Mountain Store Manager Kevin Forsgren, a native of Utah and 23-year Walmart veteran. “This new Supercenter is built with the customer in mind and reflects our commitment to serving the community—not just by providing convenient shopping options, but by supporting the needs of local families and being an active partner with the city. We are inspired by the warm welcome from the community and the interest in our employment opportunities. Our team was elated to celebrate with residents during the grand opening event.”
