BRIGHAM CITY, Utah — Introducing the community to their state-of-the-art facility, Young Ford Brigham City cut the ribbon at their new 1100 W dealership on Aug. 15.

“We couldn’t have asked for a better celebration,” said Kory Martin, general manager of Young Ford Brigham City. “It was incredible to show the public what we have now, and what we’ll be able to provide them with going forward. Brigham City’s a great home for our operation, and it means the world to serve this area from a setting that expands our capabilities.”

Featuring games, food trucks and caterers, the event began with speeches from Brigham City mayor DJ Bott, Box Elder Chamber of Commerce chief executive officer Monica Holdaway and Young Automotive Group president Spencer Young Jr. Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony, attendees were invited to tour the 37,000 sq. ft. building.

Along with the festivities, the Young Automotive Group’s charitable nonprofit, the Young Caring for Our Young Foundation, finished their endeavor to assemble 15,000 pantry packs by rallying patrons to assemble 500 of the meal kits at the event. Distributed following the ceremony, the packs will supply children in need with two days worth of food and snacks.

“We have a strong belief in the importance of the 15,000 pantry pack endeavor,” said Kellee Belnap, director of Young Caring for Our Young. “The need to fight hunger in our communities is a priority, and through assembly events, we’re able to show people how simple it is to become involved. We hope that this inspires people who are looking to make a difference.”

Standing approximately two-and-a-half miles from their former location on Main Street, Young Ford Brigham City’s new dealership houses a modern service area, a mezzanine for parts storage and a near 6,000 sq. ft. showroom. A project that began with a groundbreaking ceremony on July 12, 2024, development for the facility was overseen by Tom Stuart Construction.

“I think what we’re most excited about are the changes that benefit the customer experience,” said Martin. “The amenities we have will help us decrease service wait times, improve comfort and create a more compelling ambiance.”

One of the Young Automotive Group’s three Ford operations, the franchise serves as a dealer for the manufacturer as well as Shelby-American, Black Widow Trucks and RTR Vehicles. Last year, they were recognized with a JD Power Dealer of Excellence award.

Apart from Young Ford Brigham City’s new building, the Young Automotive Group recently constructed upgraded facilities for their Young Mazda Idaho Falls and Young Subaru dealerships. The organization also opened their Young Powersports Euro dealership this summer, and will be moving their Young Powersports Ogden operation to an adjacent location on Riverdale Road.

“This dealership embodies several qualities that represent the next steps we’re taking as a company,” said Young Jr. “We strive to not only meet the high expectations of our customers, but establish better presences within our communities. This location is designed to not only provide premier service, but host events and be a place of gathering. We can’t wait to see what the future holds.”
