LA VERKIN, Utah — Zion Canyon Hot Springs, located minutes from Zion National Park in southwestern Utah’s breathtaking red rock country, has officially opened. The new property features over 50 natural geothermal and specially formulated mineral pools, making it the third and most ambitious property in the WorldSprings portfolio, the nation’s largest and fastest-growing outdoor hot springs operator.

“It was such an honor to be approached by La Verkin to create this destination and reopen public access to these special waters in recognition of our success launching Iron Mountain Hot Springs in Glenwood Springs, CO,” said Steve Beckley, co-founder of WorldSprings. “It is truly a full circle moment as this national expansion comes one decade after we launched that very property. What began as a single location has evolved into America’s premier network of natural wellness destinations, making the unparalleled healing power of mineral waters accessible to more Americans.”

Zion Canyon Hot Springs offers exclusive access to the legendary La Verkin Sulphur Springs (Pah Tempe) geothermal waters, a natural treasure developed through a landmark partnership with the Utah Water Conservancy District. These mineral-rich waters are thoughtfully integrated throughout the geothermal pools at temperatures ranging from 88 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit, providing proven wellness benefits, including stress reduction, improved sleep, enhanced recovery, and deeper human connection. A carefully engineered system allows the geothermal waters to be refreshed as necessary for consistently clean water. Once the springs water has been used, it undergoes a final filtration process before being responsibly returned to the Virgin River.

Governor Spencer J. Cox attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Zion Canyon Hot Springs, where he praised the property’s shared benefits of attracting visitors to the area and enhancing the local environment. Calling the property “a great addition to La Verkin, the state of Utah, and the United States of America,” with the potential to draw global visitors, Governor Cox recognized Zion Canyon Hot Springs as proof that it’s possible to both develop and improve the environment with careful planning and forethought.

The property also features the brand’s signature WorldSprings, which are globally inspired mineral pools that emulate the therapeutic benefits of renowned healing waters, including the Dead Sea, Iceland’s Blue Lagoon, and Japan’s Hokkaido Hot Springs. The property complements the nearby national park experience, offering hikers and adventurers the perfect recovery destination. Beyond the signature geothermal pools, Zion Canyon Hot Springs features cold plunges, a freshwater family pool, barrel saunas, and an on-site cafe, allowing guests to experience centuries-old wellness traditions alongside one of America’s most visited natural regions.

Zion Canyon Hot Springs will be managed by Ronald Neumann, who brings a wealth of knowledge in the aquatic and hospitality industry, including his experience opening multiple indoor water parks and family entertainment centers across the country. Ron managed properties for such notable brands as Great Wolf Lodge and Five Star Parks.

“We’re excited to open what will be a premier hot springs destination in the US and welcome guests to an oasis where they can relax, rejuvenate, and connect with nature,” said Neumann, Zion Canyon Hot Springs’ General Manager / Vice President. Neumann continued, “I have opened and led luxury properties in Colorado, Washington, Illinois, Georgia, and Arizona and the Greater Zion community stands out as an incredible partner for their excitement and hospitality.”

WorldSprings has rapidly established itself as the nation’s premier outdoor wellness destination, with additional properties in Dallas, TX, and Glenwood Springs, CO, operating as Iron Mountain Hot Springs.

This year alone, WorldSprings has tripled its footprint with the opening of Zion Canyon Hot Springs and strengthened its executive leadership with a key industry hire, Vimla Black-Gupta as Board Director and Advisor. The company also recently unveiled its distinctive “Just Add Water” brand identity, which counters increasingly complicated wellness trends by celebrating the simple, timeless power of mineral soak experiences.

Access to Zion Canyon Hot Springs in La Verkin, Utah, starts at an introductory price of $39. To build a relationship with its new community and encourage the integration of regular soaks into their wellness routines, Zion Canyon Hot Springs will also offer discounted entry to locals with proof of residency.
