Park City, UT — The Park City Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau has updated its Chamber Sponsored Employee Benefit Program one year after its successful launch in collaboration with the Heber Valley Chamber of Commerce. The updated health insurance collaboration provides top-tier coverage and competitive premiums, mirroring larger employer benefits for an affordable price. This program is accessible to employers with as few as two employees, transforming coverage for tens of thousands of employees.
“As a local broker deeply invested in the success of our community, I am excited about the Chamber Sponsored Employee Benefit Program. This plan offers a solution for businesses navigating the complexities of the insurance marketplace,” said Celia Nash-Underwood, owner and agent at TeamNash. “It has the capability of offering employees high-quality healthcare while maintaining financial stability. In a time where the right health plan can make or break a business, this plan stands out as a possible solution.”
The updated program offers excellent options for medical, dental, vision and other ancillary benefits, potentially offering lower out-of-pocket maximums than those of small group market plans. The rates are often more affordable than those in the ACA Market, featuring composite rates (single, two-party, family, etc.) rather than age-banded rates. Additionally, trend increases with Angle have been lower than in the ACA market. Beyond typical health benefits, the program offers life insurance and critical illness coverage.
“By expanding our Chamber Sponsored Employee Benefit Program, we’re ensuring that our local small businesses can offer their employees access to comprehensive, affordable health coverage options typically reserved for large companies,” said Jennifer Wesselhoff, President & CEO of the Park City Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau. “This initiative reflects our commitment to strengthening Park City’s business community and supporting employers in providing valuable, sustainable benefits that attract and retain talent.”
