Salt Lake City— The Domain Companies is proud to announce new local partnerships with three nonprofit organizations through its MyCommunity program at The Shop shared workspace: The Green Urban Lunchbox, Wild Utah Project, and Equality Utah. In partnership with Giv Development, Domain will open The Shop in early 2021 in the heart of Salt Lake City. Centrally located on the TRAX line, this $14 million coworking community exemplifies a new way to work, offering businesses a turnkey, affordable solution that supports safe and easy growth.
The MyCommunity program partners each Domain property with three local nonprofit organizations, facilitating donations and creating volunteer opportunities for members throughout the year. Upon membership signing or renewal, members assign a donation from Domain to one of these partners, creating steady and significant financial support. Each of Domain’s properties strengthens this relationship through ongoing volunteerism, specialized holiday programs, collection drives, and more.
At the heart of Domain’s investment approach is a mission to create true community value through four philanthropic pillars: social justice, food equity, environmental justice, and support of vulnerable populations. This sustained engagement effort serves to enhance the lives of residents and members, support local businesses, and lay the foundation for future progress and stronger communities.
