Parsons Behle & Latimer welcomes new Chief People Officer

Salt Lake City—On June 6, Parsons Behle & Latimer (Parsons) welcomed Nicole G. Farrell back to the firm as Chief People Officer (CPO). Farrell is a Parsons’ alumni who, for approximately nine years, was a team member of Parsons as an associate and then shareholder attorney.

As CPO, Farrell will be responsible for onboarding and regular training of lawyers and professional staff, employee recognition, benefits, Culture & Core Values, DE&I, retention and enforcement of attorney  and professional staff policies.

Farrell says, “I am thrilled to have come ‘home’ to Parsons Behle & Latimer after seven years in a new role as Chief People Officer. Parsons is growing, evolving and thriving. I’ve re-connected with past colleagues who taught me ‘the Parsons Way’ when I was a young lawyer as well as met excellent individuals who have since joined the firm. I can’t wait to see what we can accomplish together.”

Prior to accepting this new position at Parsons, Farrell served as vice president of diversity, equity and inclusion and Nobel Academy and corporate counsel, senior human resources director and integrated business planning for Dyno Nobel.

Parsons’ CEO and Chairperson Shawn C. Ferrin says, “Parsons has a great leadership team that is dedicated to supporting and improving the firm. We feel very fortunate to have Nicole with us again. She brings exceptional skills and experience that will help us attract, develop and retain the best talent and make the firm even stronger going forward.”
