Park City Chamber of Commerce | Convention & Visitors Bureau unveils initiative to Support Businesses & Employers: The Chamber Sponsored Employee Benefit Program

Park City, Utah—The Park City Chamber of Commerce | Convention & Visitors Bureau took center stage at its Annual Meeting to announce the Chamber Sponsored Employee Benefit Program on Aug. 31. The innovative initiative is a health insurance collaboration between Park City Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau, and the Heber Valley Chamber of Commerce, ensuring Chamber members have access to quality health coverage options. Employers with as few as two employees are eligible for these benefits, transforming coverage for nearly 14,000 employees.

“We are thrilled to offer this new benefit program to our members. Affordable group healthcare insurance is unattainable for many of Park City’s small businesses and this new Chamber Sponsored Employee Benefit Program will give hundreds of small businesses a new option for their employees. This program is a reflection of our dedication to fostering a community where businesses and their employees can flourish and reinforces our belief that a healthier workforce contributes to a stronger and vibrant city,” said Jennifer Wesselhoff, President and CEO of Park City Chamber & Visitors Bureau. “By arming employers with the tools to provide comprehensive health and other ancillary benefits, we not only support the physical and mental wellbeing of our workforce, but also strengthen the foundation of the local economy, ensuring a brighter future for us all.”

The Park City Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau believes employees that have high-quality benefit options are healthier, happier and more productive, leading to more engagement and less turnover, a benefit for the entire community. The program offers excellent options for medical, dental, vision and other ancillary benefits  and even includes pet insurance, as the Chamber understands the importance animal friends have on individual wellbeing. Providing quality health insurance is one of most critical issues businesses face today. To alleviate this burden, the Chamber partnered with Heber Valley Chamber of Commerce and local insurance experts, leveraging their collective expertise and resources for favorable terms and competitive rates, ushering in a cost-effective option for Park City business owners.

“In today’s competitive business landscape, offering robust employee benefits is more important than ever. While many businesses often struggle to offer these much-needed life services, the Chamber Sponsored Employee Benefit Program arrives as a channel of support, offering a streamlined and cost-effective solution,” said Scott House, VP of Partner Services at Park City Chamber & Visitors Bureau. “By collaborating with the Heber Valley Chamber of Commerce, we are collectively addressing a pressing concern and allowing businesses to focus on what they do best.”
