
Mayor’s Awards in the Arts honoring 2023 recipients
Ogden, UT—On Thursday, November 2, Ogden City Arts recognized six honorees at the 2023 Mayor’s Awards in the Arts celebration held at historic Union Station.
The Ogden City Mayor’s Awards in the Arts program was created to recognize the creative contributions of individual artists and arts organizations making a difference throughout Ogden City. Each year, the public is invited to nominate a deserving artist, art advocate, or organization for an award in an array of categories. Nominations are accepted year-round.
This year’s ceremony included recognizing excellence in the literary arts, performing arts, arts advocacy, an emerging artist, and a lifetime contribution award. The celebration also included a surprise special recognition from Ogden City Arts presented to Mayor Mike Caldwell for his steadfast arts support throughout his tenure.
Ogden City Arts and the Ogden City Arts Advisory Committee, are pleased to announce the following Honorees for the 2023 Mayor’s Awards in the Arts:
