Utah beverage becomes finalist in national competition

Salt Lake City—Life Cider, a new drink out of Springville created by Jon Pierre Francia, was named a finalist in New York at the nation’s leading authority in the food and beverage industry: BevNet

Motivated by declining health including severe acid reflux, heartburn, and aspirating fluids in his lungs, Jon Pierre discovered a solution that is now making waves in the market.

Determined to improve his condition, Jon Pierre incorporated daily doses of apple cider vinegar (ACV) into his routine. Choking down a shot of ACV every day was not something he wanted to do, so he began experimenting with how to make it palatable. After a couple years of trial and error, he landed on something that everyone in his family loved. A delightful concoction infused with additional vitamins and minerals that not only satisfies the taste buds but also delivers significant health benefits.

“I’m on a mission to help millions of people become healthier,” said Francia. “Not only does it taste amazing, but it’s packed with a daily dose of essential vitamins and minerals.”

Manufactured in Springville, Utah, Life Cider has quickly gained attention. The judges’ panel at BevNet included buyers from Coca-Cola, Sprouts, Whole Foods and many others, all of whom recognized the unique appeal and potential of Life Cider.

With a mission to help combat obesity and provide a solution for those who find the taste of vinegar unappealing, Jon Pierre Francia aims to introduce Life Cider to a wider audience. The health benefits of Life Cider are extensive, including increased energy expenditure, improved glucose uptake, enhanced insulin sensitivity, heightened satiety, anti-inflammatory properties, and increased fat and glucose oxidation in the liver.

Following his success at BevNet, Francia seized an exciting opportunity to meet with buyers from national chains like Whole Foods, Sprouts, and others. Each of the major panelists at BevNet said the same thing. “This product is going to make it in the marketplace”.

“With the help of the national buyers for these key chains, we are going to focus on our Utah retail outlets,” said Francia.

In the near future, in addition to his focus on education around obesity and diabetes, Jon Pierre plans to collaborate with a local non-profit organization specializing in mental health awareness. Together, they aim to conduct studies and measurements to explore the potential benefits of ACV on emotional well-being.
