Salt Lake City— Award-winning Utah tech company Impact Collective™ released a new program last week dedicated to employee wellbeing. Since 2013, Impact Collective™ has been developing mobile apps that provide tools, education, and community to those suffering from mental health and addiction. Impact Suite, their newest offering, includes four completely anonymous mental health, wellness, and recovery-based apps for a comprehensive approach to employee care.

Impact Suite builds on their successful Recovery Suite™ program, which was developed for clinicians. The Impact team used that established program with new features that tailor Impact Suite specifically to the needs and challenges of employees and employers. This employee health benefit includes live coaching paired with four specialized apps: Lift™ for depression and anxiety, Turn™ for substance abuse, Fortify™ for sexual compulsivity, and Climb™ (coming soon) for personal wellness.

Clay Olsen, CEO of Impact Collective™, said, “Addiction and mental health issues are at an all-time high, impacting one in three Americans—that means your employees. That impact negatively affects their ability to work and ultimately costs your organization money. But there are scenarios where everybody wins.” He continued, “We’re committed to providing accessible, anonymous resources during these most challenging times, so your employees can move forward in their lives.”

Impact Suite helps employees and employers effectively track outcomes, improve employee engagement, and reduce the corporate medical spend, while providing additional support to those seeking long-term healing.

In a corporate trial of the employee assistant program (EAP) with Logan-based Malouf™, there was a 25 percent adoption rate of the apps—compared to the usual three percent adoption rate seen in similar EAPs. Anonymous users at Malouf™ reported their physical discomfort decreased by 89 percent, their anxiety decreased by 31 percent, and their compulsive behavior decreased by 43 percent.

“There couldn’t have been a better time to introduce Impact Suite to our staff,” said Sam Malouf, CEO of Malouf™. “The COVID-19 pandemic has had a huge impact on the emotional wellbeing of our staff, and I am so glad we had this resource available for them. It really rounds out our benefit package so we can make sure our employees are taken care of on every level.”
