Four new stores open at University Place in Orem

Orem — University Place in Orem, a 120-acre mixed-use development, today announced several new businesses that have recently opened or will be opening soon. From couture wedding gowns and wedding bands made from dinosaur bones to welcoming new restaurants, University Place continues to attract online retailers to physical locations, giving customers a retail experience that can’t be matched virtually.

“Many of these stores and restaurants are ‘firsts’ — either their ‘first’ in the market or their ‘first’ brick and mortar store, where shoppers can go in and actually try things on for themselves,” said Randy Woodbury, president and CEO of Woodbury Corporation. “Whether you are getting married or getting a bite to eat with friends, University Place is the place to bring people together and meet those needs.”

Below is a list of new business that have opened:

Frankie Jane Couture Bridal – This is the first couture bridal store in Utah County. Owned by mother-daughter team Tatum Knell and Holly Smith, Frankie Jane Couture Bridal immediately introduced six new wedding dress designers to the market.  With the tagline of “Be unforgettable, be unique, and most importantly still be you!”, Frankie Jane Couture Bridal is located below the Exton Apartments facing The Orchard. Founded in 2016, Manly Bands is on the Inc. 500 Best Places to Work list and opened its doors at University Place in February.
