Rachelle Morris
Co-Founder & Managing Director | Stalwart Ventures
Rachelle Morris, an optimistic changemaker, moved to Salt Lake City in 2018 to launch JP Morgan’s private bank office in Utah. She was the senior woman in the office and became a trusted advisor to several of Utah’s most prominent families, overseeing an over $1 billon investment and credit portfolio.
Noticing the gender gap in venture capital, she co-founded RevRoad Capital, now Stalwart Ventures, in 2022 to prove out both the supply and demand gaps for women investors in Utah’s venture ecosystem, even if it meant disrupting her career. She strongly believed that by increasing the participation of women, it would bring value to the ecosystem as a whole.
The firm has invested in nine startups, with Rachelle serving as a board director for three. Beyond finance, Rachelle is active in public service, winning the Republican nomination for Salt Lake County Council in 2024.
Though narrowly losing the general election, she captured 237,744 votes and won key communities. Post-election, she collaborates with lawmakers on public safety, student lunch programs and childcare tax credits for employers.
