Drive-thru job fair on Nov. 7 hosted by the South Jordan Chamber
South Jordan— The South Jordan Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Drive-Thru Job Fair on Saturday, Nov. 7, from 11 am. to 1 pm to spread the word about businesses that are hiring. Anyone interested in finding a job can visit South Jordan City Park (enter at 10770 South Redwood Road) to receive a packet with information about local companies.
Participants can drive through the park, and one of the Chamber volunteers will hand out a bag of information on the hiring companies. Each company will detail what jobs are available along with the experience required to apply. Everyone along the Wasatch Front is welcome to attend. “Despite challenging circumstances due to the pandemic, businesses in South Jordan are hiring,” said Brian Synan, president and CEO of the South Jordan Chamber of Commerce. “We want to help bring information to those looking for jobs in a safe, distanced way. The Drive-Thru Job Fair will also bring more potential employees to our local businesses, so they can fill their openings quickly and with the most qualified candidates.”
In addition to the job fair, companies can sign the Work Safe / Customer Safe pledge to keep employees and customers safe at https://www.southjordanchamber.org/pledge. After taking the pledge, these businesses receive a flyer they can post at their location, notifying everyone that they are following local health department guidelines for health and safety.
