Salt Lake City — Discovery Gateway Children’s Museum (DGCM) is excited to announce that The Red Balloon Toy Store will be opening a location inside the children’s museum.

The Red Balloon Toy Store will be providing toys based on the beloved Children’s Museum exhibits as well as toys that further their focus on STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics) learning.

“It was such a natural partnership,” says Kathleen Bodenlos, CEO. “We are both long-standing organizations in Salt Lake City that inspire children to learn through play.”

Families will be able to start shopping and enjoying this new addition to the Children’s Museum on September 27, 2021.

“The Discovery Gateway Children’s Museum is such a valuable resource for our community, creating a space that allows children of all ages to imagine and connect with the world around them. This complements our mission of empowering our community to “Make Time to Play” and are thrilled by the idea of children coming to the museum, having their world opened up, and then playing with toys, games, and puzzles to expand those connections at home, said David Castillo VP of The Red Balloon Toy Store.

The toy store will be located at the children’s museum location at 444 West 100 South Salt Lake City, UT 84101 on the first floor next to admissions.
