“Our customers and bankers look forward to our annual Economic Forecast events that we have sponsored for several years in Logan, Ogden, Salt Lake and Provo,” says Douglas L. DeFries, president of Bank of Utah. “But of course this year we have had to avoid large gatherings to keep everyone safe. So, we’re hosting a virtual event that anyone can join to hear economic predictions for Utah’s real estate market. We have two excellent speakers, Jon and Neil Walter. These brothers have taught real estate, economics or finance at Dixie State University and have been working very successfully for many years in real estate development and investment.
“We’re hosting the event because it’s important to be informed about Utah’s real estate and the housing market as they are a key part of Utah’s economic growth,” added DeFries. “We hope our virtual event gives our customers and bank employees a deeper understanding of the economy as a whole and provides ideas for possible commercial and residential real estate investments that help build wealth.”
