Founder and Editor-In-Chief Tunisha Brown described the ballroom as “The Secret Garden,” reflecting the ambiance that enveloped guests as they toasted to the outstanding honorees of the evening. Princess Bombyck and Melissa “Tshikamba” Boggs received the “Be Inspired Award powered by Torrance Hill of Executive Life.” With the highlight being Dr. Erica Baiden and Dr. Kamisha Johnson-Davis being recognized for their remarkable contributions.

The evening was elevated by a keynote address from Victoria Eady Butler, the Master Blender of Uncle Nearest who’s company reported a $900 Million Dollar valuation last week, whose speech titled “Living A Legacy” resonated deeply with attendees, making it a truly memorable affair.

This year marks the second consecutive year of partnership with Vivint, adding another layer of significance to the event. The Women of IMPACT series goes beyond a mere celebration; it is a platform that fosters powerful collaborations among extraordinary women, leading to global impacts across industries and communities.

Emerging from a BET dinner in Atlanta in 2017, Tunisha Brown’s vision for the Women of IMPACT series was born out of a desire to honor and showcase the exceptional achievements of black women. Since then, the series has featured influential figures such as media mogul Karen Civil, Deesha Dyer from the Obama Administration, CBS2 Jamie McGriff, acclaimed actress Aisha Hinds, Judge Shauna Robertson, and beauty moguls Mahisha Dellinger of CURLS and Monique Rodriquez of Mielle, Sade Turner Esquire of Strong & Hanni, along with other notable individuals like Utah State Representative Sandra Hollins, among more than 200 remarkable black women.

The Women of IMPACT series has gained widespread recognition and has been featured in renowned publications and platforms such as Oprah Magazine, Essence, Getty Images, Yahoo Finance, and Bravo TV, solidifying its place as a premier celebration of influential black women.
