Via 313 in Riverton to open in the coming weeks, bringing Detroit style pizza to the suburbs of Salt Lake City.

Via 313 in Riverton, Utah, to open soon

Riverton — Via 313, the first restaurant brand to recreate the signature Detroit-style pizza outside of Motown, is bringing music to more Salt Lake City pizza lovers’ ears – and mouths – with the opening of the award-winning pizzeria’s third area location in Riverton!

Riverton guests will be singing “I Feel Good” once they get their hands on a slice of what Food Network named one of the “Top Five Pizzas in America.” Located at 13222 S. Tree Sparrow Drive, Ste. R180, the pizzeria’s opening this fall will mark the fourth Via 313 in Utah and the 12th systemwide.

“We may be from Michigan and started our brand in Texas, but Utah feels like a second home for us,” says co-founder Brandon Hunt. “Riverton will mark our fourth restaurant in the Beehive State, and it’s truly because of the love and support pizza lovers here have given Via 313 from the moment we arrived. Who knew so many people out west would love Detroit-style pizza as much as my brother Zane and I?!”

In preparation for its grand opening this fall, Riverton’s new pizzeria is hiring 100 staff members for front and back-of-house positions. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply online at Harri.com/via313. Via 313 offers a variety of benefits, like competitive pay and high earning potential, paid time off, health insurance, discounted meals, a fun, relaxed atmosphere, career advancement opportunities, and more.

The new, locally owned, and operated 3,466-square-foot restaurant will be in the Mountain View Village shopping center and feature a larger footprint than many of its Texas locations with an expansive patio and a dedicated to-go area for guests to conveniently take home their favorite “square” pizza pies.

Via 313 pizzas are called “square,” yet they’re actually baked in rectangle metal trays, just like the ones used on the automotive assembly lines in Detroit. But instead of being filled with metal parts, Via 313’s trays are filled with the finest pizza ingredients it can source.

Whether you’re looking for a pizza with premium toppings like The Cadillac – made with gorgonzola, fig preserves, prosciutto, Parmesan, and balsamic glaze – or you want to go big with The Detroiter – double the pepperonis – Via 313 has all of your pizza needs covered. And the acclaimed pizzeria offers something for everyone, with vegan or vegetarian options like The Herbivore, The Four Cheese Pizza, and The Marinara as well as substitutions for gluten-free crust and dairy-free cheese on any pizza.
