Lehi-based FlowState unveils a transformative approach to driving sales performance by prioritizing mental health

Lehi, UT—FlowState, a mental performance coaching and training platform, is proudly pioneering a solution for the stress, burnout, high turnover, and other mental health-related challenges faced by salespeople. The FlowState team excitedly unveils their first steps outside door-to-door and into all sales organizations.

“Companies are starting to see the connection between employee well-being and sales performance and are ready for a more transformative solution beyond what incentives, company swag, or perks can provide on their own,” said Stratton Nielsen, Mental Health Therapist and co-founder of FlowState.

Recognizing the profound impact of mental well-being on performance and productivity, FlowState has been spearheading a paradigm shift within the industry. “By helping salespeople cultivate more inner peace and resilience, everything that sales individuals and organizations value, such as performance, job satisfaction, retention, and culture, will naturally improve,” says Matt Kauer, co-founder. With awareness and compassion for the stress and mental challenges inherent in performance-driven environments like sales, FlowState’s mission is to become the premier mental performance and wellness resource for companies that prioritize mental health.

“We often relate what we do to professional sports. Professional athletes are constantly living under the spotlight and pressure to perform at a peak level day in and day out. Organizations such as the NBA and NFL require a professional, in the form of a sports psychologist or similar, to be staffed and on-site for the players as a constant resource. We see salespeople feeling the weight of a similar performance pressure, and we want to help. Just like sports teams, every sales team needs a professional dedicated to their mental performance and well-being,” says co-founder Wes Young.

FlowState is set to revolutionize traditional and outdated approaches and bring new hope to reps, leaders, and business owners. FlowState’s bold ethos is that sales don’t have to be stressful, stating, “Salespeople are able to perform at higher levels more consistently and with less stress when they are equipped with the right internal tools to deal with stressors. And when their organizations are given the right strategies to promote connection and reduce isolating and stress-inducing practices.” FlowState promises to drive performance, reduce employee turnover, and enhance overall well-being and workplace experience. This promise is accomplished through three primary pillars.

First, Flowstate provides mental performance coaching, training, and workshops to help salespeople overcome common mental and emotional challenges as well as recognize and have proactive solutions for when mental health begins to decline.

Second, FlowState tracks and provides data insights and key wellness metrics to help individuals, teams, and organizations monitor mental health patterns and performance over time.

Third, the piece that ties it all together, is the FlowState app. Through an integrative app platform, users have access to everything that a salesforce needs for peak mental performance in the pocket of every rep, leader, and owner of sales organizations.

“I think the biggest improvement we saw with FlowState was in our culture. When our employees saw that we cared about their mental and overall health, they trusted us more and had higher performance,” says Nate Carter, Owner and CEO of Enviroguard Pest Control.

The launch of FlowState signifies a pivotal moment in the evolution of sales practices, establishing a new benchmark for employee care and development. As the company strides forward, it aims to lead by example, inspiring a fundamental shift towards a more empathetic and balanced approach to sales with improved performance and greater quality of life for all.
