Bevell’s Advocate to host Mother’s Day walk-a-thon fundraiser

Provo, UT—Bevell’s Advocate, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering, educating, and assisting families of children with disabilities, is thrilled to announce its upcoming Mother’s Day Walk-a-Thon event. The event aims to celebrate and honor the incredible mothers who tirelessly support their children with special needs. The Mother’s Day Walk-a-Thon will take place on May 11th, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Carterville Park. Carterville Park is located at 2400 North Carterville Road in Provo, Utah. Participants will gather for a leisurely walk in the park while supporting a worthy cause.

“As an organization, we witness the remarkable strength and resilience of mothers raising children with disabilities every day,” said Morgan Bevell, President of Bevell’s Advocate. “This event is our way of showing appreciation for their unwavering dedication and providing support to these families.”

All proceeds from the Walk-a-Thon will directly benefit Bevell’s Advocate programs, including scholarships, services, and the expansion of resources for families of children with disabilities. Bevell’s Advocate operates solely on fundraising, donations, and grants, ensuring that families never face financial burdens in accessing essential resources.

In addition to the walk, the event will feature family-friendly activities, such as bounce houses and a live DJ, refreshments, photo opportunities, giveaways, and disability resources from event partners. There will also be opportunities to learn more about Bevell’s Advocate and its impactful work in the community.
