Lehi—Tranont, a leader in high-quality health products, hosted a community project in partnership with the nonprofit organization Sleep in Heavenly Peace and JobNimbus to build 40 bunk beds for Utah kids. The donated beds will go to local children currently sleeping on the floor or couches. 

Community members and employees from Tranont and other local businesses spent six hours assembling the bunk beds from raw materials. The beds will be stained and delivered to the families, along with the donated mattresses and bedding, within the next week. 

“Giving back in our community is central to our mission to change life for good. We take that responsibility personally,” said Tranont Co-Owner Russell Losee. “We organize monthly service projects but helping children have a comfortable place to sleep every night is a cause that we personally feel  passionate about, which is why we got other businesses involved.”

Partnerships with local companies is crucial to Sleep in Heavenly Peace, a volunteer led organization that always has a waiting list. 

“No child should sleep on the floor. As a volunteer organization, we rely on partnerships with companies like Tranont, both for the volunteer labor and the donations. This project means the world for the 40 families who will finally be able to give their children a comfortable place to sleep every night,” says Sleep in Heavenly Peace Chapter President Ann Freeze.
