CBRE adds to strength of local research group with addition of new analysts

Salt Lake City — The commercial real estate firm CBRE, Inc. announced today that it has brought on two new research analysts, further strengthening its regional commercial real estate and economic data analysis expertise. New hires Sierra Hoffer, senior research analyst, and Chase Johnson, field research analyst, join Joseph Farrell, Salt Lake City-based data intelligence manager, and the rest of the regional research team in overseeing data collection and analysis for commercial markets covering both Utah and the Boise market area.

Sierra Hoffer has rejoined the Salt Lake City office as a senior research analyst and brings valuable analytical expertise in both the commercial real estate and technology industries. Sierra will lead-out in organizing and presenting CBRE data, own local thought leadership, and assist local CBRE leadership to form and retain strategic alliances with external organizations. Most recently, Sierra worked as a business operations associate for Vivint Smart Home and prior worked as a research analyst for CBRE covering commercial market data and economic trends throughout the state of Utah. Sierra was a graduate fellow at Utah State University where she earned a master’s degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing.

Serving directly under Sierra, Chase Johnson is a field research analyst and will handle day-to-day research matters, including working directly with the brokerage community to fulfil data requests and maintaining the integrity of our local research database. Chase is a graduate of Brigham Young University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in Economics.

The Salt Lake City office of CBRE opened in 1984 and has a significant presence in the Utah market providing a variety of services, including brokerage, capital markets, valuation & appraisal, property management, debt & structured finance, global workplace solutions, project management and construction management solutions. In late 2020, CBRE expanded its service capabilities within the Boise market with the addition of sales professionals specializing in advisory and transaction services and capital markets.
