About the Nomination Process
Who can submit a nomination?
Anyone may nominate their company, but in order to submit a complete application, a percentage of the company’s overall workforce must fill out an anonymous survey. Please plan ahead so you can get your company on board with your nomination!
What information should be included in the nomination?
Great nominations that stand out provide specific details about the atmosphere, culture and unique characteristics of their company and its leadership.
What is the nomination process like?
To submit a nomination, click on the Nominate Here button on this page. After we get your application, we’ll follow up with you to arrange the set up an anonymous survey your employees will be invited to complete.
What kinds of questions are included in the employee survey?
Employees will be asked to complete an anonymous survey ranking their company on a variety of factors, such as pay equity, benefit offering, flexibility, management, job satisfaction, and more.
Does my employer have a chance of winning if I’m at a small company?
Yes! Awards are offered in several company-size categories, ranging from micro (must have at least 25 employees) to extra-large, so that excellence at all levels can be recognized.
How large does my company have to be in order to participate?
Companies must have at least 25 employees working in Utah in order to be eligible.
How are honorees selected?
Employee survey results are tabulated by a survey company and are vetted through a rigorous process. Your employees’ survey results are combined with your entry application and evaluated by our judges.
Is there an application fee?
Yes, there is an application fee that covers the cost of administering the survey. That fee can towards purchasing your survey results.
