ImageFIRST expands footprint

Salt Lake City — ImageFIRST, the nation’s largest and fastest-growing provider of linen and laundry services for the healthcare industry, announced today the acquisition of Textile Care Services (TCS) of Utah, located in Salt Lake City, Utah. This acquisition marks ImageFIRST’s first facility in the state of Utah. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Textile Care Services, founded in 1988, is one of the largest providers of healthcare linen and laundry services in Utah. TCS is currently owned by Rick Taft, who will remain with the business as the General Manager. Existing TCS customers will be serviced by ImageFIRST as they continue to grow its customer base — creating more expansive linen service capabilities and job opportunities in the area. Existing leadership and employees will be retained as part of the transaction.

“As we continue to aggressively seek opportunities across the US, we viewed TCS as a leading regional provider and a business that strongly aligns with our service culture,” says Jim Cashman, president and CEO of ImageFIRST. “The TCS deal gives ImageFIRST a strong foothold in Utah and greater strengthens our national leadership position.”

This latest acquisition in Utah marks a major advancement in ImageFIRST’s geographic expansion — providing the linen and laundry specialists with opportunities to service Utah-based healthcare facilities. This strengthened national coverage also supports ImageFIRST’s National Account division as it seeks to expand its offerings to more multiregional accounts.
