Sundt Foundation adds Bennie to board of directors

Salt Lake City— The Sundt Foundation has named Jasen Bennie to its Board of Directors, representing the Salt Lake City giving area.

Bennie serves as the Intermountain area manager out of Sundt’s Salt Lake City office. He has been an active member of the Sundt Foundation since joining Sundt over a year ago.

“It has been humbling to give back to the community that I’ve had the pleasure to call home for the past 20 years,” said Bennie. “Having the opportunity to lead our Foundation members in giving back to the Greater Salt Lake area will be a gratifying experience.”

The Sundt Foundation Board of Directors is composed of 12 employee-owners, four appointed by the company and eight elected by the membership. The board convenes quarterly to approve grants based on recommendations made by employee-owner committees in each Sundt office.

Sundt recognizes the importance of community giving. Today, its employee-owners remain dedicated to ensuring others’ well-being, donating generously to charitable causes and volunteering thousands of hours each year to help local nonprofit organizations achieve their missions.

Sundt’s purpose is to build environments where its clients, employee-owners and communities prosper. The Sundt Foundation, established by Sundt in 1999, provides its employee-owners with a means of creating and sharing prosperity for their communities. It offers financial support to nonprofit organizations dedicated to improving the lives of disadvantaged children and adults. Sundt employees and matching company dollars fund the Foundation, and it recently passed the $11 million mark in grants awarded.
