What’s inside a sensory bag? How do these tools help?
Noise Cancelling Headphones – Noise Cancelling Headphones help keep out loud and obtrusive noises so people can enjoy the event they are attending without feeling overwhelmed.
Fidget Toys – These simple, yet effective toys help people with sensory needs focus, self-regulate, and provide a calming influence.
Feeling Thermometer Verbal Cue Card – Sometimes, it can be hard for individuals with sensory needs to express how they are feeling. The Feeling Thermometer Verbal Cue Card helps those who need it in providing simple photos to point at to indicate how they’re feeling, so people can best assist them.
Weighted Lap Pads – Weighted Lap Pads provide those with sensory needs a calming and grounding effect. Lap pads have been proven to increase time spent seated or spent on a single task.
