New Management For Salt Lake City Senior Living Communities
Salt Lake City–On November 1st, Cappella Living Solutions assumed management of two senior retirement communities in the greater Salt Lake City, Utah area, and will now be supporting The Ridge Senior Living ownership group in these communities. Cappella is already the management partner for The Ridge Pinehurst, currently under construction in the west Denver metro area in Colorado.
The Ridge Cottonwood offers 90 assisted living and 30 memory support apartment homes in the Salt Lake City suburb of Holladay. With soaring ceilings and a cozy mountain lodge feeling, The Ridge Cottonwood opened in 2014 and enjoys a robust occupancy and thriving community culture.
The Ridge Foothill opened in 2016 and offers 100 assisted living and 48 memory support apartment homes. With terrific location on a main thoroughfare in Salt Lake City and close proximity to the University of Utah, Foothill feels like a luxury hotel with vast community spaces, well-appointed apartments and stimulating programming. Cappella Living Solutions will support Foothill’s continued successful fill-up in partnership with Glynn Devins, serving more older adults in the greater Salt Lake region.
With the addition of these two Utah properties, The Ridge Senior Living has now engaged Cappella as an operational partner for three of the five communities in their portfolio.
“Cappella’s operational values and vision for steady, not explosive growth, aligns well with our operational and growth goals,” said Mandy Hampton, Chief Operating Officer for The Ridge Senior Living. “With their reputation for building engaging and rich cultures, their track record for strong financial performance and their western region roots, Cappella was the natural choice as a management partner.”
“We are proud to partner with The Ridge Senior Living in support of their dynamic vision for senior living,” explained Cappella Chief Operating Officer Camille Burke. “These two Utah communities have amazing teams dedicated to serving older adults in the greater Salt Lake area. In our 90-day transition period we were absolutely thrilled to find a solid culture already in place. Our job will be to support their growth and continued success and bring our proven operational systems and philosophy to an eager team.”
