New vision and styles with Poppy & Dot’s new ownership

American Fork— Utah-based online women’s clothing store, Poppy & Dot, recently came into new ownership.
Jeff and Tami Piper purchased Poppy & Dot on December 2, 2019, from Layla Overman and Tara Thueson, who started the online women’s apparel company in 2013 and helped it grow from a small start-up run out of a basement to the warehouse-operated, multi-million dollar company it is today.

After living and parenting their five children in California for years, Jeff and Tami decided to relocate to Northern Utah. Jeff, who also works for a high-tech company in San Francisco and owns Cufflink Aficionado, is always on the lookout for online businesses to buy and came across the listing for Poppy & Dot.

“We both love fashion and have spent many a date night shopping and trying clothes on,” Tami said. “After a lot of thought and deliberation, trial and error, and a good amount of grit and determination, Poppy & Dot was purchased!”

The Pipers are passionate about clothing. They believe through clothing you can be creative; that you can be and do anything you want. As the proud new owners of Poppy & Dot, their goal with the clothing company is to provide clothes to women that are convenient, functional, and stylish, and help women be confident in their skin and excited to get dressed every morning.
