Salt Lake City— Reaveley Engineers, a Salt Lake City-based structural engineering firm, continues to strengthen its leadership in the industry with internal promotions of five new principals, and two associates. 

Justin Nadauld, SE; Corey Price, SE, LEED AP; Oliver Burt, PE; Jessica Chappell, SE, LEED PA; and Mark Thimm, PE, LEED AP have accepted principal positions at Reaveley. Each has demonstrated outstanding contributions to client relationships and structural engineering solutions. 

  • Justin Nadauld’s structural expertise has been put into action for many venues, including Salt Lake City’s Eccles Theater, the O.C. Tanner flagship store, and the McKay-Dee Hospital Ambulatory Surgery & Orthopedic Center in Ogden.
  • After moving to Utah from Alaska, Corey Price has helped devise structural solutions for The Summit at Snowbird, the Engelstad Shakespeare Theatre in Cedar City, and the Marmalade Library in Salt Lake City.
     
  • Oliver Burt began his career at Reaveley and proved his value working on many government, educational and healthcare projects, including the Utah Valley Medical Center, Brighton Highschool and the Dixie State University Human Performance Center.
  • Jessica Chappell has significant experience in healthcare, civic and cultural, and religious structures. She shares her technical excellence with a range of clients; her work can be appreciated in the Alta View Hospital Campus, Museum of Natural Curiosity, Primary Children’s Hospital in Lehi, and at the Cedar City Utah Temple.
  • Specializing in concrete structures, Mark Thimm provides invaluable analysis and expertise to clients; his work has involved seismic upgrades and repairs for the Salt Lake City and County Building, Church Office Building parking structures, and the Park City Mountain Resort Center Ice Rink Plaza.

Jake Anderson, BIM/CAD, and Clayton Burningham, Ph.D. and PE, have been promoted to Associates at Reaveley. Both bring exceptional technical and project management skills to their expanded responsibilities.

  • Jake Anderson has vast experience from the ground up, his history includes architectural firms as well as construction firms giving him insight into his projects.
  • Clayton Burningham continues to benefit clients with expertise gained through his Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering.

Salt Lake City— Kristin Schaefer has joined J.P. Morgan Private Bank in Salt Lake City as  an Executive Director and Banker. In this role, Schaefer works with successful executives, business owners and some of the area’s most influential families to support their total wealth plans and goals—pre- and post-transaction planning, investment management, banking, lending and philanthropy. She serves as a powerful gateway to deliver the firm’s global capabilities and address the complexities of significant assets. Schaefer brings more than 20 years of experience in banking and financial services, having worked in different markets and across financial segments throughout her career that include wealth management, commercial banking, global treasury management and international banking. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, as a Global Banking Consultant with Wells Fargo in Silicon Valley, she advised on complex international transactions for high-growth and tech companies, and has brought that experience to Utah. Since locating to Utah, Schaefer has immersed herself in the local community and is a committee member of the Granite Education Foundation, designing programs to empower and develop female students and increase workplace giving. Schaefer graduated from the University of Evansville, where she earned a B.A. in Liberal Studies with a focus on Organizational Management. She holds Series 7 and 63 securities licenses.
