Luxury Park City Vacation Community to Build Private Event Venue
Park City— Promontory, one the most luxurious private vacation home communities in the West, has begun construction on Double Deer, a new 17,722 square foot expansion of the Jack Nicklaus Clubhouse specifically designed to accommodate members’ private events. This multi-million dollar amenity is part of developer Francis Najafi’s vision to ensure Promontory continues to evolve with new amenities to meet the needs of its members who are predominately second home owners. Expected opening is July 4, 2020.
“As a world-class multi-generational community, we felt creating a space to celebrate life’s most meaningful moments would be important for our members. It will also be a unique venue for many of our corporate CEO members to host business functions” says Promontory developer Francis Najafi of Pivotal Group. “We are excited for Double Deer to be yet another fantastic amenity that further differentiates Promontory and defines it as one of the most prestigious vacation home communities ever created.”
Double Deer will be a multi-use facility to accommodate private events for up to 250 guests hosted by Promontory members. These may include weddings, family reunions, corporate events, and non-profit fundraisers. Interior designer Vallone Design of Scottsdale, AZ has created a timeless, modern feel with light blues and cool textures. The amenity will feature indoor and outdoor entertaining areas, in addition to private rooms for brides to dress and relax, a green room, pre-function area, and a coed golf/sports lounge “19th at the Nick” overlooking the 18th hole of the Jack Nicklaus Signature Painted Valley Golf Course. The ballroom is a flexible space that can be divided into three rooms to suit various needs, with state-of-the-art A/V systems that can function independently for each space. The Sage Spa features four luxurious Asian-style spa treatment rooms, each with its own shower and changing room. The plans call for 90 additional parking spaces to accommodate guests.
“As the greater Park City area expands, Promontory has become a more integral part of the community in terms of access and involvement,” says Robin Milne, General Manager of Promontory. “Our members enjoy an idyllic balance of privacy and solitude coupled with unrivaled access to the mountain town’s many cultural and recreational attractions that Promontory families and their guests treasure. We expect that Double Deer will be a well-received addition that allows them to invite their extended families and business associates to build more memories in an exclusive setting while also becoming immersed in Park City’s renowned offerings.”
