DL Evans Bank celebrates grand-opening in Logan

Logan — John V. Evans, Jr., president and CEO of D.L. Evans Bank, is pleased to announce the grand opening of the bank’s branch in Logan, Utah.  The Logan branch opened for business in March 2020 and is located at 944 South Highway 89. This is a full-service location offering a full range of banking products and services, mortgages, and investments.  A grand opening event is scheduled for Wednesday, August 4th, at 9:30 am.

John V. Evans, Jr., says, “We are excited about the branch in Logan. While the branch opened for business last year, we have been unable to hold the grand opening event due to the pandemic. We look forward to celebrating the Logan branch, their accomplishments over the last year, and the opportunities that the future will bring. The Logan branch is under the leadership of David Mumm as VP and branch manager. Mumm has over thirty years of banking experience and was previously the VP commercial loan officer at the D.L. Evans Bank South Ogden branch. David along with the rest of his team will do an excellent job taking care of our customers and leading the Logan branch to success.”

D.L. Evans Bank started in 1904 and has grown to thirty-six branch locations with total assets of more than $2.4 billion.  While times have changed, the bank has never lost sight of the founder’s vision, “That banking is really just about one thing: helping people.” That is the strength of a family-owned community bank, meaningful, long-term relationships. This is community banking.
