Caucus attendance down from 2012, but higher than average

Political parties say attendance at their caucuses this week was down significantly from two years ago, but higher than the historical average. Democrats estimate between 10,000 and 15,000 people showed up at neighborhood meetings Tuesdaynight, down from 15,000 to 20,000 two years ago, said Matt Lyon, executive director of the Utah Democratic Party.
