Larkin, one of most recognized names for memorial services, celebrates 125 years of providing funeral homes, cemeteries, indoor and outdoor mausoleums, a cremation center, premier floral shops, and monument and vault manufacturing facilities to families and individuals in Utah.
“The reputation and honor given to a Larkin funeral comes from a foundation of sanctity and service started in 1885 with my great grandfather, George William Larkin,” said Lance Larkin, company president. “Through six generations, this family and company have grown to provide our guests complete service and offerings to help alleviate the weight of the experience.”
Larkin locations include Larkin Sunset Gardens, a 70-acre cemetery and memorial campus in Sandy; Larkin Sunset Lawns, an 11-acre cemetery, indoor mausoleum and urn garden in Salt Lake City; and Larkin Mortuary, one of the most recognized funeral homes in downtown Salt Lake City. Other Larkin businesses include Rocky Mountain Monument and Vault, The Rose Shop and Le Jardin.
“We understand and respect that making a funeral arrangement is a deeply personal experience,” said Spencer Larkin, who serves as secretary and treasurer for the company. “Realizing the sacredness of our profession, it is our honor to serve the community by providing compassionate care at such a sensitive time.”
