Two Ogden Projects Receive Awards

Two Ogden, Utah projects were the impetus for the “Historical Renovation” and “Institutional” awards presented by Associated Builders and Contractors of Utah for “Excellence in Construction”. R&O Construction, the contractor on the projects, accepted the awards at the association’s annual convention last night in Salt Lake City.
Honored in the “Historical Renovation” category of a project between $2-$5 million was the DaVinci Academy of Science and the Arts at 2033 Grant Avenue in Ogden. The Hurst Center for Lifelong Learning at Weber State University captured the “Institutional” award between $5 and $10 million.
ABC Utah is the local chapter affiliated with the national trade association representing over 25,000 contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers and related firms across the country and from all specialties in the construction industry.
R&O Construction is a commercial contractor headquartered in Ogden, Utah with a regional office in Las Vegas, Nevada. R&O is celebrating their 30th anniversary this year.
