Alpha Warranty Services has purchased a 13,111-square-foot building in Riverton at

The sale was completed with assistance of NAI Utah’s new Special Asset Consultation and Disposition Department created by the agents representing the seller. Brandon Smith, an associate real estate agent with NAI Utah specializing in land and investment properties, helped close the transaction. “NAI Utah agents Bill Murray, Rick Davison and I represented the seller, a local credit union. The property was a distressed commercial real estate asset owned by the credit union,” Smith said.
Smith noted that NAI Utah’s new department was established to deal with distressed commercial real estate owned by a financial institution. He said that when NAI is involved with real estate like this, the company provides: a due diligence review including a broker’s opinion of value; advisory services to position the property for sale; marketing services to expose the property to qualified buyers; and disposition services in closing the sale of the property, including working through the closing process with the buyer’s lender.
NAI Utah is the largest commercial brokerage operation in
