Accomplishments: In the past four years, Diana Windley facilitated the communications plan for two different mergers for Goldenwest Credit Union. The first merger involved onboarding 15,000+ members to a new credit union with different versions of financial products and services, including different online and mobile banking platforms.
Community involvement: Windley recently completed a term as the chair of the Morgan Education Foundation, which raises funds for technology upgrades, classroom equipment, capital improvement projects and more. She currently serves on the Morgan Middle School Community Council and the Morgan High School Community Council.
Who she admires most: “My dad. He was born and raised in Northern Mexico, the son of a farmer and seventh of 10 children. He moved to the United States after an LDS mission to attend BYU. Although he had the benefit of being raised bilingual, he didn’t have two dimes to rub together and knew only extended family members in the U.S. He worked his way through college, eventually graduating with a Ph.D. while raising four young children with my mother. I believe his humble upbringing taught him both the value of hard work and education as well as compassion for humanity.”
