

What is a Best Company to Work For? A Best Company is one that has found innovative ways to hold onto key talent, closing the revolving door of employee turnover. Utah Business is looking for companies that succeed in their respective industries while cultivating workers by providing opportunities for them to acquire new skills, develop leadership abilities and advance within the company. Employees at a Best Company to Work For are enthusiastic about their job and proud to represent the company.
To select companies for recognition, Utah Business will look at benefits and pay, fairness and opportunities, employee pride and corporate culture, and internal communication. To be eligible for the program, a company must be a for-profit organization with at least 15 employees working in Utah.
The program provides companies the opportunity to learn about their organization from the perspective of employees as well as discover how they rank against other Utah companies. Utah Business will feature the 2008 Best Companies to Work For in its November issue.
To participate in the program, companies must complete an online corporate profile and survey. Additionally, a percentage of random employees must also complete an online survey. The registration deadline is August 15, 2008.
