Accomplishments: At Spherion, Aubrey Robison oversees six offices from Provo to Boise. Under her direction, Spherion’s revenue has grown over 50 percent. She started a Direct Hire division, which has been the top-performing branch in the nation for three years in a row. With GroEco, a startup focused on growing clean, organic food sustainably and affordably, Robison says she has been “an initiator.” “I’ve worked hard in building business plans, created launch and development strategies [and] worked on partnerships.”
Motivation: “I was blessed to be raised by a woman who taught me that anything was possible. There were no limits to what I could do. I’ve been lucky enough to have the chance to shape my own environment. … I chose to rise above my own personal adversity and succeed anyway. What motivates me more than anything else is the chance I have to instill those same ideals, beliefs and confidence in my own daughter.”
Community involvement: Alongside her work at GroEco, Robison is involved in Roots Charter School, an agriculture-based charter school for at-risk students, and People Helping People, which focuses on providing education for mothers in order to break the chain of poverty.
