St. George — A signal booster from Wilson Electronics, LLC was named Wireless Product of the Year by the TechHome Division of the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA).
Wilson’s CI 2070 in-building signal booster was recognized as part of the CEA’s 2014 Mark of Excellence Award, which recognizes the best in custom integration and installed technology.
The CI 2070 is an FCC-approved signal booster designed for professional installation inside a building to address the problem of poor cellular reception at home or in the workplace.
“Cellular devices play an increasingly important communications role in our lives, and Wilson Electronics is committed to helping consumers boost cellular communications when they are challenged by a weak and unreliable signal,” said Bob Van Buskirk, president and CEO of Wilson Electronics.
Mark of Excellence Award winners were announced at the Mark of Excellence Systems Integrator Awards Reception during the recent International Consumer Electronics Show (CES). Mark of Excellence Awards were presented in 14 categories, each judged by a four-member panel comprised of systems integrators, manufacturers, members of the trade press or industry consultants.
