Wavelink Partners with Catchwell

Enterprise mobility management company, Wavelink, announced a partnership to pre-load all Catchwell’s ruggedized mobile devices with Wavelink’s Avalanche and Terminal Emulation. This partnership gives Catchwell a greater global reach in the ruggedized device market.

This partnership marks Catchwell’s first agreement with a major software company and will help them build a mobile solution that is compelling in all of the world’s markets. Catchwell customers will be able to quickly deploy the pre-loaded Wavelink Avalanche and Wavelink Terminal Emulation (TE) across their enterprise.

Every Catchwell CW20 and CW30 ruggedized device comes pre-loaded with the following Wavelink software:

• Wavelink Avalanche enables remote hands-free setup and management of hand-held devices from the initial stages of provisioning, all phases of mobile computer use, returning devices into the population from service, repair or alternative use, and into retirement.
• Wavelink Terminal Emulation (TE) is the market leader with more than 4 million clients installed. TE is a complete environment, available to every device running Wavelink TE at no additional cost. The environment includes Session Persistence, Screen Reformatter, and high level of customization with settings and configuration options, and automation of data entry using scripting tools.
