Provo — Veracity Networks expects to complete a 10 gigabit fiber-optic network for businesses in Provo June 30.
The new fiber-optic network is expected to offer 10 gigabit speeds with unthrottled and unshared capacity to each business customer. Additionally, Veracity will provide commercial users with a dedicated IP address and double network redundancy.
“The arrival of Google Fiber’s 1 gigabit network has been a win for residents of Provo, and now Veracity is pleased to offer 10 gigabit Internet service to the business community,” said Veracity Networks CEO Drew Peterson.
Veracity Networks currently serves more than 700 Provo business customers, including Provo City, Nu Skin and Brigham Young University, and will move those existing customers to the new network at no additional charge for service.
