Utah Fund of Funds Portfolio Partner Invests in DigiCert, Inc.

Boston-based and global growth investor TA Associates made a growth equity investment in Lindon, Utah-based DigiCert, Inc. DigiCert currently employs 80 Utah workers in high-tech jobs.

“We have always viewed Utah as an attractive place to invest and our investment in DigiCert is the result of proactively seeking investments in the state," said Jason P. Werlin, principal at TA Associates and member of the DigiCert Board of Directors.

Werlin added, “We have had conversations with the Utah Fund of Funds about opportunities to invest in Utah and find Utah to be a growing and dynamic location for technology investments.” 

The TA Associates investment in DigiCert marks the 61st Utah-based company that has received investment from Utah Fund of Funds’ partners. Prior to TA’s investment, 16 UFOF portfolio funds have invested in 60 Utah companies, which companies have created over 2,000 new jobs in the state of Utah.
