Utah Design Firms Ranked in Top 500 List

The U.S. construction market appears to be rising out of the recession and Utah design firms are taking part in that. Engineering News-Record recently released its 2012 list of The Top 500 Design Firms and this year is the first time in three years that the group of 500 combined experienced revenue growth.

The list is published annually and ranks the 500 largest U.S.-based design firms, both publicly and privately held, based on design-specific revenue.

Among the Top 500 are four Utah-based design firms. Salt Lake-based Architectural Nexus saw a significant jump in its ranking, from No. 465 in 2011 to No. 313 this year.

FFKR Architects ranked No. 484 in the national listing. The company has been included on the list for three years now.
