Craner acknowledges that there will always be obstacles and challenges with any expansion effort—even more so for a restaurant chain that insists on making everything from scratch. “It doesn’t matter that we have multiple locations,” he says. “That’s just something that we will never change. It is an internal challenge we have put upon ourselves.”
It won’t slow the company’s growth pattern either. “We will continue to grow each and every year,” he says. “Strategic growth is certainly part of our company’s future.” Nonetheless, with an emphasis on internal training, documented systems and processes and a focus on the customer experience, he is confident the company will continue to put out the best product possible, and treat each restaurant as if it is the company’s only restaurant.
