Cedar City — Southern Utah University’s School of Business began a new speaker series, the Ethics Speaker Series, Tuesday. The inaugural speech was delivered by Barney Rosenberg, vice president of ethics and business conduct for the Meggit Group, a global engineering institute specializing in extreme environment components. Rosenberg's presentation was an interactive workshop called “Director for a Day: Life in the Corporate Fast Lane,” which covered ethics practices in business around the globe.
The Ethics Speaker Series is sponsored by a private donor who hopes to see increased ethics training for college students. All speeches and presentations in the series are free and open to students of any major, as well as the public.
“No matter your field of study, knowing how to act ethically and with integrity is a necessity that will make or break a career,” said School of Business Dean Carl Templin.
