Boart Longyear’s board of directors announced the expected appointment of experienced mining and energy services industry leader, RICHARD O’BRIEN as president and CEO of the company effective April 1 2013. O’Brien served most recently as president and CEO of Newmont Mining Corporation.

BOB REED has been appointed chairman of the board of governors for the South Salt Lake City Chamber of Commerce. He will serve for one year. Reed currently works as the business development representative for Cameron Construction.

JOHN LINCOLN has joined Professional Service Industries, Inc. (PSI) in its Salt Lake City operations office as a project specialist. Lincoln has 15 years of experience in the construction field including.

TROY NORTH of Gramoll Construction was recognized as superintendent of the year at AGC of Utah’s Annual Awards Banquet. North was honored for his recent efforts with the Donna Garff Marriot Honors Residential Scholars Community Building at the University of Utah.

SANDY - The Utah Farm Bureau Federation has named JANE ASHBY as vice president of finance and chief financial officer. Ashby has served as the director of finance with Farm Bureau for close to three years.

JEANNE JACKSON was named to the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects, an honor awarded to members who have made contributions of national significance to the profession. Jackson, a Partner with VCBO Architecture is the only woman in Utah to receive the accreditation.

The Park City Police Department has hired  ANDREW LEATHAM and JAY RANDALL as sergeants. The two were sworn in during a recent city council meeting.

Vivint has appointed TODD SANTIAGO as chief sales officer. Santiago will lead all sales efforts at Vivint, including the direct-to-home division, national inside sales and channel partners.

Molding Box named NATHAN DODD and CHRIS MITCHELL have been named account managers. Dodd will be responsible for the sales of business printing services to local and national clients, and Mitchell will work to evolve Molding Box's place in the fulfillment industry, servicing the shipping and fulfillment sales worldwide.
