Intermountain Financial Group, the Utah Agency of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual), has hired ERIC ANDERSEN as its Technology Specialist. Andersen will work with the firm’s financial services professionals located throughout the state with their technology needs and training. Andersen, a graduate of Westminster College, has a strong background in the financial services industry specializing in Information Technology.
Identigene promoted DONNA HOUSLEY, Ph.D., to Lab Director. Housley will be responsible for overseeing the company’s DNA testing laboratory and brings almost two decades of experience to the new position. Prior to joining Identigene in 2010, Housley worked as an associate laboratory director in the paternity division at Orchid Cellmark, and spent eight years as a research associate at Michigan State University in the field of genetics to discover genes that underlie disease and behavior for application in medicine. Housley’s former role as associate laboratory director has been assumed by GEORGES FRECH, Ph.D. Identigene’s DNA testing laboratory remains a global leader in DNA relationship testing. Frech is a new addition to the Identigene scientific team, and brings more than 15 years of experience in genetics and molecular biology. Most recently he worked as a senior research scientist at the Great Basin Corporation, and previously he was involved in several human genetics-based research and development projects at Myriad Genetics, where he worked for 12 years.
BRENNER ADAMS has been named as senior vice president of Business Development at ChartLogic. In his new position, Adams is responsible for integrating the product development and sales and marketing functions, as well as developing new market opportunities. Prior to joining ChartLogic, Adams served as a director of business development for Microsoft’s X-Box Games Studio. In his new role at ChartLogic, Adams will also be involved in exploring ‘gamification’ methodology introductions across the functional areas of product, sales and marketing.
CLENT WRIGHT accepted the position of NDE Services Department Manager with PSI’s Salt Lake City operations office. Wright has more than 17 years of experience in providing safety, quality and production in NDE inspection. He is Level II MT, PT, RT, UTT, VT, PMI (Innov-X and Niton) and RSO certified.
LARRY OLSON has joined South Davis Community Hospital (SDCH) as its newest member to the Board of Directors. Olsen has worked at Les Olson Company since 1963. For the past 46 years he has focused on building the family business. Olson worked his way up as chairman of the board, co-CEO, and president. He has served on the Board of Governors for the South Salt Lake Chamber and is currently on the Board of Directors for Amicus Foundation, Hale Center Theatre, Utah Section PGA and is excited to serve on the Board for South Davis Community Hospital. Each of the seven board directors at SDCH is a deeply respected and experienced business leader, and together they provide the board and hospital executive team with insight and perspective relating to business and the rapidly changing health care industry.

Compas will direct the efforts of the account management and client care departments, including managing and cultivating existing customer relationships, responding to customer questions and issues, and guiding clients to achieve maximum return on investment (ROI) and satisfaction.

KATHERINE E. JUDD, attorney at Clyde Snow & Sessions law firm in Salt Lake City, was recently appointed vice chair of an American Bar Association Committee and reelected secretary of the Utah State Bar's Young Lawyers Division. An active member of Clyde Snow's Employment Law Group and the Young Lawyers Division, Judd was appointed to the ABA Young Lawyers Division as vice chair for the Committee on Labor & Employment Law. She will serve under the co-chairs as one of three vice chairs for the 2012-2013 term beginning in August and will participate in national conferences as well as the Touch 10,000 Program, a member-to-member outreach program designed to connect ABA YLD Ambassadors with new bar admittees.
The Utah Valley Chamber of Commerce announced VAL HALE, the vice president for university relations from Utah Valley University as president and CEO. Additionally, a new leadership position has been created, executive vice president. The new position will be filled by DONNA MILAKOVIC, who has been president and executive director for the Lehi Area Chamber of Commerce since 2009. Both Hale and Milakovic have great background experience in media, education, politics, public relations and the Utah Valley business and local communities.

OnRamp Transportation Services promoted SPENCER ANGERBAUER to the role of President. Angerbauer is a 14-year veteran of multiple industries, including transportation, technology, commercial real estate and property management. Angerbauer began his tenure at OnRamp as president of EQUINOX Owner-Operator Solutions in 2009.
THAD BELL has been appointed Director of Global Sales for Trebor International. Bell will be responsible for driving commercial growth and strategies on a global basis while managing a global team of sales professionals. He has more than 13 years of experience as a successful sales leader in both OEM and Distribution environments, including international experience. His most recent position was the International Sales Manager at OraTech LLC.
NINA MCGEE joined Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage as its relocation manager. In her new role, McGee will be responsible for the management and operations of the company’s relocation department and its business development efforts. McGee had most recently been the chief executive officer of Keller Williams Salt Lake City since 2005. Prior to that, she served as vice president of corporate relocation for Prudential Prestige Real Estate in Salt Lake City for eight years.
