Orabrush, Inc. announced that it gained momentum in Canada, with three leading retailers now carrying the company’s tongue cleaner. First available in Canada in September 2010, Orabrush is now available at more than 75 London Drugs locations, 300 Walmart Canada stores and more than 760 Shoppers Drug Mart stores across the country.
“We pride ourselves on being a company that is among the first to adopt new and exciting products, and are proud to have been the first retailer in North America to carry the Orabrush,” said Rob Felix, general manager of general merchandise at London Drugs. “Our customers’ satisfaction is our first priority, and ensuring availability of the Orabrush as one of our oral hygiene products helps us deliver on that promise.”
Canadian stores were among the first to adopt the Orabrush tongue cleaner thanks to the popularity of the company’s quirky YouTube videos, which fostered demand for the product in stores. Of Orabrush’s more than 50 million views worldwide on its YouTube channel, 8.6 million of those have come from Canada, and it is estimated that one in five Canadians have watched an Orabrush YouTube video. Approximately 47,000 of the company’s more than 340,000 Facebook fans reside in Canada, with Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver ranking in the top 10 cities of followers worldwide.
“Canadians have been some of Orabrush’s most ardent supporters,” said Jeff Davis, CEO of Orabrush. “Orabrush’s placement in these respected retailers is the result of our Reverse Marketing Model, which drives awareness online and demand offline, leading to retail partnerships and helping consumers cure bad breath. We have had tremendous success reaching audiences around the world and look forward to seeing that continue in these Canadian retail outlets.”
