Open Air Cinema Launches OutdoorMovie.com

Open Air Cinema (www.openaircinema.us), a leader in outdoor cinema equipment, announced it has launched OutdoorMovie.com, a new free, national service to help consumers find outdoor movie listings, show times and locations across the country.

Cities, parks, businesses and other organizations host free outdoor movies on a regular basis across the nation. Opportunities for enjoying outdoor cinema are numerous, but for movie-goers, the challenge comes from knowing where and when the movies will take place.

“Outdoor movies are being taken to the next level,” said Brandon Purdie, president of Open Air Cinema. “There is nothing like an outdoor movie event to create a fun, entertaining atmosphere and we were receiving calls from people from all over asking whether we know about any free movies being shown in their area. We created OutdoorMovie.com as an easy to use resource for people to quickly see where and when these events are taking place.”

The homepage of OutdoorMovie.com has a map of the United States. To find an event, visitors click on a state to see a list of movies under the stars, which they can share with friends through Facebook, Twitter and other social media.

“There hasn’t been an easy way to find these amazing events until now,” Purdie said. “And, if a city is putting on a movie in the park, they can add their movie info to the map on the site for free. This service will help more people experience the magic of outdoor cinema.”
